We have tested 500,000 and 76,000 positive AND 430,000 negative you have to assume all of the people tested were sick or they wouldn’t have been tested!!!
500,000 is the total of the number of people sick enough to be tested, not the total number of infected. We need to learn that number, because that is the denominator in the death rate.
