Grew up in BR and remembered when the Morning Advocate was a great paper. Ever since Georges bought it I only go there to see how many people were killed in BR the night before.
Over the years, I’ve seen lots of FReepers who grew up in Louisiana, but left. Our out-migration has been a statewide disgrace all my life. We once had 8 congressmen and now have only 5. It’s as if the politicians have done their best to run off the working people, leaving behind only retireds, state employees, welfare types and homeless.
