Good stuff reformed, thanks.
One of my employees was freaking. I showed her about the lipids and how soap destroys it. This thing is fragile. She relaxed completely but she has been cleaning and cleaning. Disinfectant first and let it work a minute. Then hot soapy water and rinse and wipe. Then another spray of soapy water. All good nothing wrong with this.

On the forum all the flubros pleas have fallen on deaf ears. Sooner or later they ought to change tactics ya know?

Why be complacent? Why panic? Take it seriously and keep washing hands.

Can we emphasize that viruses are not alive? They persist; they do do not live on fomites. In order to live, they need to enter the human body (usually thru mucus membranes) and then invade and high-jack the replication machinery of the human cell. Also, if I understand the information available, there needs to be a sufficient quantity (*viral load*) to actually accomplish infection and cause illness.

I wonder (don’t know): if we wash out hands enough to cause extreme dryness and micro-cracks in the skin, can virus enter that way?

If we over clean some surfaces with harsh cleaners, can the subsequent degradation and roughening of the material provide places where viri particles accumulate?

I clean with 91% alcohol. Quick, takes little and dries quickly. I do this when items are introduced from outside. In between, I use my usual cleaner, Fabulosa &/or soapy water.

If no one in the house is ill and there has been no NEW introduction of people or items from outside since the last disinfection, I see no reason to continue anything beyond normal cleaning habits until new items or people are introduced again.

I have been cooking for 56 years. I clean as I go and use soap and running water constantly on hands (because I dislike having substances on my hands) and cutting boards. I am rarely ill. Never had home-based GI illness, ever. Have only had ecoli once, from a Korea buffet in Philadelphia in the 1990s. Cannot recall ever having flu. DH has not had flu in the time we’ve been together (46 years).

My late father had severe pneumonia at age 4 in 1918. I have wondered if those of us with parents who survived the 1918 Flu inherited any resistance?

People will relax as more and recoveries with hydroxychloroquine+Zpak+zinc are made known.

Anecdote is not data.
A preponderance of anecdote is data and will then be analyzed for an explanation. If that explanation is consistently accepted by clinicians, it will become unethical to withhold the combo treatment.

All these people screaming that Trump is *lying* about treatment will have blood on their hands.

Everyone inciting extreme anxiety and enabling what seems to be a lot of free-floating anxiety and barely-repressed OCD need to be called out for it.
