Planeloads are arriving in Florida around the clock, and they are met by Florida National Guard troops, who take their information and make them sign a self-quarantine agreement, with jail and heavy fines for violators. This was announced by our governor yesterday.

I’m from New York (not NYC). I care. And the fact that New Yorkers are being selfish and stupid by leaving to infect other areas is, I believe, criminal. I think DeSantis is doing the right thing with those coming by plane. I even think there should be stations at the borders to meet people.
I’m not saying there’s not an epidemic and we shouldn’t take precautions. Everyone has to be careful now. Everyone has to be be careful always during flu season.
