The social distancing is to prevent the hospitals from being overwhelmed. If that happens it won’t just be patients WITH coronavirus being killed BY coronavirus.
I think the approach the task force is taking is the right one. Some area may need to stay shut down, some may not.

I wish the snowflakes would get interested in America during the 1700s. It’s the second-best story ever. Hollywood couldn’t possibly write a screenplay so interesting and suspenseful, with heroes everywhere. The younger generations have no clue.

Comparing Italy’s situation to America’s situation is ridiculous. Even that troll Fauci tried to make that comparison to further his cause, but you can’t simply use numbers. Scientists know (I knew back in sixth grade) that controls are necessary, and apples-and-oranges comparisons are not scientific.

And I lived in NYC for 15 years.
The super crowded subway trains alone are a viral, air borne infection's wet dream, not just coronavirus. People who live in wide open, sparsely populated states like Alaska, North Dakota, Wyoming etc are not even close to being in the same situation as NYC.

Please understand that New York is America’s Wuhan now, with tens of thousands of NYers leaving per day. Planeloads are arriving in Florida around the clock, and they are met by Florida National Guard troops, who take their information and make them sign a self-quarantine agreement, with jail and heavy fines for violators. This was announced by our governor yesterday.

I always keep my eye on NY; it’s where I grew up. My aunt in NY died from the flu 25 years ago when she was 86. (Oh; I forgot. Nobody dies from any flu except the WuFlu.) My 96-year-old mom is there and she’s as disgusted by the panic as anyone I know. She loves America more than she worries about herself, and understands that if the left wins this “contest”, and takes over the Presidency, House, and Senate — no more America.
