Birx said that while in the rest of the country very few of those who test turn out to be positive (Maine is I think way under 5%) ... in NYC, unlike the rest of the country, it's like 28 or 30 %.

So I guess the thinking is 'why test an infested population ... who really cares at that point, if they haven't already been exposed, they will be exposed no matter how hard we try.'

But in NYC, “only test for COVID-19 in patients that require hospitalization.” That’s a statistical bias. It should be noted that NYC’s numbers may not be comparable with other jurisdictions.

We’ll all continue looking at data.
