The first deaths were reported back on February 24th one month ago. Since then there has been a wave of deaths.
Over 69,000 Italians tested positive for the coronavirus.
But the trend is starting to turn in Italys favor.
The past three days have seen a gradual decrease in cases reported.

It’s intriguing that the percent change, which is the accepted way to compare the rate of change, is in single digits for the first time in Italy. Slightly over 8 percent increase from the day-before totals for 2 days straight
so that’s a good sign that a plateau has arrived in Italy — potentially
