California governor Gavin Newsom stated that the daily number of unemployment insurance claims in the state has skyrocketed dramatically.
what did he think was going to happen when he told people not to go to work? Well like th valley girls say, DUH.

They were on from 1962-1971 so who was governor of California?
Pat Brown 1959-Jan.1967
R. Reagan 1967-Jan. 1975.
Still a mixed bag but life was worth living back then.

Right - these “let the economy go into a Depression to save One Life” morons make me sick. They are so arrogant. They believe that there is no question that they are right and that any type of balance with dirty “economic” considerations is beneath contempt. They do this while sitting at home with enough money in the bank (or continuing to get paid) and having this crisis really not effect them much at all. They rarely even pay lip service to the hourly workers who have been canned with no pay and who don’t have money to pay rent or buy food, and who are relying on the government’s good graces to force landlords to not evict them or for other government handouts. Most people don’t want that. They want to work. That is the balance that Trump has to decide as president. Its not up to the CDC or Fauci or any other healthcare professional. They are one part of a larger equation that Trump, not them, gets to decide.

Surely none of these claims are fake.

The Democrats are going to try to use this crisis to implement Perma-Unemployment Benefits. They don’t want people going back to work.
That’s why the President is so gung-ho on the Easter deadline. Once you start (and the longer) you keep handing out the bennies from Uncle Sam, the harder it is to take them away.

The governor called for block grants from the federal government to help the state pay for benefits.
Why? The cities and the States are the ones forcing businesses to close, they should be the ones responsible for the eminent domain and unemployment payouts. FedGov should be mostly staying out of this!

A 42.4x increase = 4,240%
