Since the era of Newt Gingrich as Speaker the Dems have stuck to their plans made no concessions and waited for the GOP to give in and crawl back to surrender to them. Dems threatened to close the government. Not allow a budget or a tax bill that helps everyone.
Time and time again.
G.W. Bush, Ryan, Romney, S. Collins, there has to be someone to lead the GOP retreat. And then the GOP wonders why before Trump everybody stayed home. We were ashamed of them.
Absolutely right is it any wonder the rats would pull this. To them this is a golden opportunity in their minds they will never have this kind of leverage again so they go for the most extreme items and if Trump kills it they will accuse him of refusing to help the Americans people.
