I watched a documentary of a Chinese co in Africa. They sent the African driver to buy some pipe. The truck left with a full load of pipe but by the time the truck arrived at the Chinese co 1/2 of the pipe was missing.
They asked the driver what happened to it and he just shrugged his shoulders.

Could well be that driver had some kin who worked for one of the many Chinese outfits that don’t manage to PAY THEIR WORKERS ?
