Forbes is conflating "Escaped from a lab" and "made in a lab".
There is a very high probablility the Wuhan Flu escaped from the lab in Wuhan.
There is a very high probability the Wuhan Flu originally was carried in bats.
The two premises are complimentary.

There was zero security in the Wuhan Biosafety 4 Lab. There was safety yes, but no security. That is a fact known from a November 2015 Nature publication on the China virus.
The PRC virologists kept the weaponized virus in lab cabinets. That’s also written in the November 2015 Mature publication.
So it was easy for a PRC regime officer to give the order to take a container of virus and spread it out at the Wuhan seafood market.
Now the party line is that the virus was a naturally evolved ‘novel coronavirus’ variant that came into the market.

I think someone was dinking with it at the lab too. Too many unusual coincidences surrounding this situation. Having said that, the world was warned of the possibility of further problems stemming from SARS-CoV-like viruses specifically from the reservoir in horseshoe bats by Clinical Microbiology Reviews Oct 2007.
