I read it, and it sounds pretty bad. If the number of severe cases doubles in the next week, the mortality rate will go way up if they can’t get the equipment and more doctors and nurses get too sick to work. It sounds like the mayor and governor don’t quite have their stuff together yet.

I’m so very glad we have a president who understands supply chains, bottlenecks, and innovative ways to do things.

The mortality rate is likely to go DOWN, not up as the testing expands and identifies new cases. The number who dievwill go up but the % of deaths to reported cases will decline as it already has from about 4% to about 1%.
