Seems like they should keep it open for medicinal but shut it down for recreational.

Anybody know why Washington has so many cases??

In WA state the majority of deaths have been from that initial senior care center that really started it all in this state. These are elderly people with health problems, and that one center had a slew of deaths at the beginning of this. We have one of those centers just up the street from our house, in a diffrent city and I have heard nothing about any deaths at that particular senior care center. I don't know why the one in Seattle had so many deaths.

Anyway, that is where the majority of the deaths have happened in Washington State.

Yep, this way when the virus spreads however slowly the rats are going to say “Trump irresponsibly open things up while we were ensuring the safety of American people”. If you watched today’s briefing it was obvious these bastards are terrified Trump will get the economy back up before November.

Democrat and Republican governors have given “shelter in place” orders. We are moving toward a two or more week national shutdown.

I too am flabbergasted to see Freepers not see this for what this is, a takeover of the people by the Deep State.

Unreal....

I was just think8ng the same thing WA. Was the damn epicenter weeks ago and he is just now doing this, HEY the horse is already out of the barn you MORON!!!

My wife and I have worked and volunteered at the Life Care Center in Kirkland for years... This virus has been circulating in the community here since some time in December. The question here isn't if you are going to get it, but was that minor illness that you had earlier in the year the Coronavirus.

It is only deadly to a small minority of people who should be kept in isolation. 50% of people have no symptoms, another 30% have symptoms so mild that they can ignore them. This is why it has spread around here so much. The tests we will soon be getting will only indicate whether we currently have it, not if we had it a month ago.

The number of new cases there have hardly budges in the last four or five days. What’s up with those nuts?

Great, we can be safe from a virus that was no risk to 99.9999% of the people, and instead see financial misery upon 99.9% of us.

What a wonderful plan!

Dems are trying to terrify voters (women in particular) into voting for Big Government in November. Whatever Trump proposes they will say it’s not enough and insist on more.

Hospitals and nursing homes are havens for germs, especially the nursing homes. Even worse in other countries.

Being surprised about deaths in nursing homes with God awful sanitation..... Gee,,,,,what a surprise. But hey, it’s great ammo for the useful idiots that instead of trying to stop big brother from taking over, to instead cheer his F’n efforts!?

Here in Washington state the schools closed down a week ago. Large gatherings were banned and a lot of people were already sheltering in place.

Washington state is flatlining now and I thought we would only e closed for another week, not two.

CT has something similar which included a nice robo call with a personal plea. In realty is is state-mandated closure of “non-essential” business as decided by the state. The local media can’t help frame it as a “quarantine” measure.

Then you have leftists on FB, mostly Gen X Females with a “I’m staying home to save lives” profile pic, who are demanding even more closures, the ability for PD to stop anyone and demand to why they are out, etc.

Agree. Once the first 15 days are up there will be another 15 days and that will be it. So about three more weeks of this economic terrorism.

Same here. A relative had a few of the symptoms but was found negative for the flu and recovered in week and half or so in Early Dec and I had a nasty flu-like cold that lasted about a week in early January.
