Few in the Media fail to grasp exactly what DJT is trying to do: balance two balls in the air at one time. On the one hand he has the economy to think about and on the other he has to ensure this virus gets beaten or at least quelled. Neither is paramount because to beat the virus we need the economy to work or at least mope along, not shut down. On the other hand if we don’t beat it and it turns even more virulent, it is not going to matter. The second path seems very remote so DJT as the optimist he is wants to make sure the economy does not collapse and to do so he wants to keep engaged the American spirit.
The Dems are nothing but dung beetles, always have been. The NIH and CDC are mostly statisticians whom want to see numbers before they act. Consequently, they are against anything he might want to do. The Ahab dems don’t care if the country goes down as long as they get the great Orange man. The CDC crowd does not with to back anything without a very clear study of long standing which indicates something works. Trump does not and his comment is telling: what do we have to lose by trying these drugs to reduce the problem if they work. Sounds good to me and any intelligent American.
