When it comes to fake news, I am going to distrust but verify.
The people from Wuhan are victims the Chinese government covered this up at the very least.

FakeNewsMedia is trying so hard to drive a wedge between Fauci & Trump. #1 reason why the Media is so despised. Fauci needs to be careful talking to so many different outlets. There is something I find deeply repellent about Fauci, and have since the very fist time I laid eyes on him. I can’t put my finger on it, but it is a physical thing.
I occasionally have this reaction to people visually. Perhaps it is something with mannerisms or subtle things in facial expressions, but it is a reaction that I feel. Something repellent that says “Do not trust this person.”
I almost always have to repress that impression because I have to deal with them in some fashion, and it is pretty rare that I have this kind of gut reaction, but I do have it with Fauci, and honestly, I have never heard his voice.
I got this impression from video with no sound, and still pictures.

That is a very good question. Fauci has repeatedly stated that only anecdotal evidence exists regarding hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin as a treatment of COVID-19, yet more than one paper describing clinical test results has been published, including one by French virologists who are peers of his expertise wise.
Fauci has been so busy working the PR angle and getting himself on TV that he hasn't taken the time to read the latest research papers. Trump is probably more up to date on the science than Fauci, since Trump listens to and watches what is actually happening in the world.
While Trump is busy managing the response to a world wide disaster Fauci is thinking about how he can make himself look good.

THAT needs to be repeated often and loudly. POTUS needs to say something like this. Especially since he reported his financial losses while he still donates his entire paycheck to Veterans.
I know Trump is a self-confessed germophobe, but I have heard is reaction to this is “I have to shake hands in my job, so that is what I do”.
I understand that. Just wash the hands after. I don’t give a rat’s patootie what leftist worms say, I have shaken hands with people my whole life, and it means something to me.
I’ll be damned if I am going to fist-bump because some wimp tells me that hand shaking is a medieval construct or some other crap.
Obviously, I won’t do it now out of concern for someone who I might shake hands with who might not be comfortable, and I don’t want to make them uncomfortable.
But when it is done, I am not jettisoning the custom. They can all kiss my rear end.

I would not assume his email to Hillary expressed his genuine feelings. It may be just generic butt kissing by a Washington bureaucrat who knows that having Hillary Clinton on your side avoids ending up pushed aside, fired, or in the worst case dead.

I’m not trying to be political about the naming of a virus, as you seem to be. Viruses have been named for their origin. Since several viruses have originated in China, Wuhan flu is more descriptive to the origin than China flu.

Besides, the fake news states rumors as facts, takes actual quotes out of context, or tells outright lies, in order to try and make the President look bad.
This makes him look bad. Hmmm. Any bells ringing there?

I know what you’re saying. Some people can pick up on bad vibes through facial expressions, body language, etc. He’s a creepy little thing. He should be sent off to the glue factory; he’s been around since the AIDS epidemic.
