I would like to see the ware pattern on the Rail Head.

Well it’s high speed, not conventional railing....aren’t those top and side of the rail wheels which, as long as the gauge is precisely maintained, could not “jump” the rail. Hence a 2” width increase in one linkage (and maybe on a curve) section or the attachment of a continuous rail-— would result in a catastrophic derailment. Wonder what the section speed is in that area of track.
Not as a pro— but had several old kin who worked/drove for Burlington and the Burlington Northern.
