Money offered to companies by government can have strictures or not based on how our reps vote. I want my rep to be able to place restrictions on its use.

For the most part I don’t want company bailouts except to mitigate disasters.

Giving money to companies from the Federal government is not contemplated specifically by he constituents so issues of control aren’t addressed as well. We aren’t talking about controlling their money — we are placing restrictions on actions if they accept OUR money. You have the cash for buybacks but you want our money to fund that buyback.? Not defensible IMHO.

Well, all this direct federal spending and this idiotic this stimulus bill is not part of the solution, is a a big part of the problem.

The Left loves all this Federal spending but the only thing that will help our economy and our freedom is TAX CUTS, not MORE government spending.

Again, I agree with Ben Franklin. “Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
