I think the president should jump to the opposite sometimes. For instance, rather than saying he was upset with China because they could have told them about this....I would suggest “I’d be a pretty horrid president if I WASN’T upset with China. We have gone through hell, people have died, and I’m not supposed to be “upset with China?! God in Heaven.....I’m upset to the nth degree!”
Trump should channel Reagan and say:
“My fellow Americans, I’m pleased to tell you today that I’ve signed legislation that will outlaw CHINA forever. We begin bombing in five minutes.”
