I am starting to thnk that the Chinese coronavirus was let loose deliberately. This is WWIII. Harry Truman should have let Douglas McArthur go after them when it was easier.
Truman and McArthur dispute was over Korea not WWII. Mac wanted to lay a miles wide strip of Cobalt 14 along the border as I recall
Truman's administration, esp the State Dept, made a habit of turning a blind eye to the communists not only in Russia and China, but inside our own gates as well.
I rather doubt that's an order he would've issued.

Harry Truman should have let Douglas McArthur go after them when it was easier.
It certainly would have been easier on the Chinese people. Now the citizens are being denied the essential things that they need.
