President Trump can veto appropriations legislation if he feels it is wasteful or unnecessary.
He can and hopefully will put the brakes on, but at this point in time, saving money is not at the top of agenda. Blame for a bloated budget come November can now easily be deferred to congress.....”this had to be done...people were dieing”
