In cases of severe pneumonia, a broad-spectrum antibiotic is also used.

Trust me, if EVERY patient is cured in 6 days the media will find multiple reasons to give no credit to Trump and of course will pile credit on the French. The French are indeed deserving of credit for having the courage and wherewithal to actually DO something rather than just talk about how awful it is as the media here does while wringing their collective hands.

I am not a doctor but I believe I read these medications interfere with the ability of the virus to replicate and in doing so allow the natural defenses in the body to take it out before it gets out of control.
