“O.K. But the Ohio pharmacy board, in a coordinated effort (telephone conference call and followup public letter) with other state pharmacy boards, should be seeking for the drug manufactures to increase their production of hydroxychloroquine. Why? Because it is a supply issue and it is not as if the supply going to the pharmacies could not be increased. They experience the supply problem but restricting its use by the pharmacy is only one half of the solution. The other is increased production. They can publicly make that case with more affect than can the individual patients and doctors seeking to use the drug.”

Israel is sending hydroxychloroquine to the US.

Bayer is sending meds also.

But until those donated drugs are vetted and get into distribution chain....ya dont want the people, “who know someone”, to get their personal “emergency supply” before the people who really need it get their potentially life saving supply. A reasonable policy considering that now ya’ gotta be first in the store to get tp and pt.
