I calculated that one standard-size bottle of hydrogen peroxide will sanitize produce for a household for one month (e.g. mix 1/4 cup with 5-6 gallons of water).

I picked up 4 bottles the other day at the local Dollar General.

My grocery trips are now planned for quickest in-and-out, and everything I bring home is washed in H2O2 before being brought inside for rinsing and storage.
