To buy ammo here in CA, you have to be in a state data-base and only buy from state approved ammo dealers. And each time you do buy ammo, you will have to have a background check.
Several years ago, Dick's announced they were dumping AR-14 or 15 or 16 sales and so they had an ammo sale.
I had hundreds of dollars of Dick's gift cards and bought several thousand rounds of ammo at Dick's at 50-60% off.
What a deal, 357 Magnum, 38, 30-30 and 30-06, plus a load of 22LR.
I loved it and never went back.
Screw those PC pricks.
