You’re lucky. All his concerts were sell-outs; I never could get to see him, other than TV.
I saw him perform with the ‘First Edition’ at the Chautauqua Amphitheater way back when I was in high school in the early 70’s.
During the summer, Thursdays were special event performances - so growing up down the shoreline (Chautauqua Lake, Chautauqua Co. NY) we were treated to many a show from different acts over the years. Many of us local kids had jobs there during the summer.
