EVERYONE on the platform at every briefing is government. Trump needs to replace Fauci with a kick-ass immunologist from the private sector — someone who’s been a practicing doctor within the last year. Fauci’s title is “Doctor”, but he is, first and foremost, a politician, having been in NIH (not CDC) since the ‘80s.

Trump could justify replacing him saying that the private sector is not fairly represented on the Task Force. That would be enough, and tru.
