My wife has a lot (too many) friends that are not tuned in to what is happening in the world, and whom she gives out too much of our personal information (they are freaking helpless). I finally had to put my foot down and tell her to not share our preparations, as they will be the first to appear on our doorstep in a time of crisis with big, teary eyes and hands out. I’ve been showing her a few documentaries to back up the fact that those with will be the ones that those without will come to (perhaps violently) in these times. Also told her I would feel bad having to defend myself from her “friends”, but would if it came down to it...

Too bad the 'cat' is out of the bag. Should it come to it...hand them a 2 cup bag of rice and a couple of nip bottles of vodka. Then tell them, don't come back unless you are carrying supplies or a weapon.

But I doubt it will get that bad anytime soon.
