The Washington Post was forced to issue a correction after columnist Jennifer Rubin attacked Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., for allegedly not rushing to pass financial aid during the national coronavirus emergency.
In a column published Tuesday that trashed President Trump's handling of the coronavirus outbreak, the self-described "conservative blogger" took a swipe at McConnell, comparing him to a sloth for his inaction on a relief package.
"Finally, the Republican-led Senate is fiddling while Rome burns. The failure to take an immediate vote on the House's relief package last week was emblematic of the sloth and irresponsibility of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell," Rubin wrote.

Not only is Rubin factually wrong, her writing is cliche.
Noticeably, none of the social media posts claiming Trump made this statement included a video clip or other proof he said it, and that’s because THERE WAS NONE TO SHOW. There's no evidence that Trump said this during any recent public announcements about the coronavirus disease.
But there it is with a grinning Trump picture where he's looking stupid.

WAPO wouldn’t normally issue a correction for this, coming from an opinion writing columnist. ....which tells me they’re in the process of throwing this scumbag under the bus.
This joke “conservative” is such a fraud even liberals are embarrassed by her logic and TDS.
She hangs it out for all to see with her rabid cable news diatribes and are more difficult for the WAPO to ignore.

Jennifer Rubin is the result when people who have nothing worth saying are obliged to tell you all about it.
Rubin only uses the most highly recommended cliches in he Journalism For Idiots manual.
