I’m a former VN journalist/researcher.My father-in-law fought on Iwo Jima (3 Purple Hearts), my son and son-in-law fought in Iraq (3rd ID and 4th Marine Division respectively).

Listening to and reading the wimpy, cowardly, anti-Trump douchebag journalists at the press conference (including Jim Acosta at any time), reminds me that our liberal/leftist younger reporters, many of whom are millennial fools, aren’t worth “spit”. If they disappeared tomorrow nobody would miss them.

In contrast to these little shits, I’m reading an after battle report dated June 12, 1945, from the Commanding Officer of the USS Vestal to the Chief of the Bureau of Ships re the “USS Newcomb (DD586) - Repairs to Battle Damage in the case of” (battle damage during the period May 2 - June 12, 1945).

I’m going to let the report speak for “The Greatest Generation”, including those who died during those days listed above, and let you, the reader, compare their heroism to the cowardice of our millennial cowards of today including those in the White House Press Corp.

“Selected quotes/statements”

“All personnel stayed at their guns until blown over the side or forced to leave their stations by fires”.

“Below are listed lessons I have learned in witnessing seventy-five Japanese suicide attacks, twenty of which were hits”.

April 6, 1945 attack: Newcomb hit by 4 suicide planes:
8. (a) Every man killed in action as found at his battle station as follows: lists 15 names.

Names of the missing in action are listed below with battle station at which they were serving during the engagement - 20 names listed. Five more names of MIAs were added April 14, 1945.

Many were killed by planes crashing into their gun positions, often blowing the guns themselves overboard, along with their crews.

* “Gunnery Department: Knapp, David Jr., 800 52 48, S1c, remained on his director station #44 and assisted in keeping his gun firing until it was blown over the side. He is missing in action.” (

“Carter, Iverson A., 807 29 11, GM3c, as 20 mm gunner on midships battery remained on his gun after the first suicide crash and was firing at the time of second crash. He is missing in action”.

“Terisavage, John C., 642 16 37, GM3c, as loader on 40 mm gun #44 remained on his station and kept gun in action until it was blown over the side. He is missing in action.”

* Medical Dept.: “Lt. J.J. McNeil, MC, USNR, after rescuing several severely injured men and take them to a place of safety was in charge of caring for all casualties, performing his surgical work on the wardroom table.”

* Rescue and Life Saving: “Luarino, Rosario (n), 601 44 67, F1c, who was in the water gave his life jacket to Lipariti, Frank A., 814 16 35, S1c, who had lost his own and was drowning. Latter is missing.”

* Forward Fire Fighting Party: “Tacey, Richard C., 600 96 38, MM1c(T), as a member of the #1 repair party, was killed in fighting fires as he attempted to reach some engineering personnel trapped by the flames.”

I hate our media whores, our academic traitors, our corrupt, anti-American politicians, and the useless millenials and spoiled bastards of the left.

They will never compare to those men I have listed above. They just haven’t got what it takes to be a “hero”. Instead they are “zeros” and my hatred is reserved eternally for these current “journalists” who couldn’t hold a candle to my fellow journalists from Isaac Don Levine (Pulitzer Prize winner), J.R. Del Vecchio, USMC award winning combat photographer, Vietnam (PH) and personal friend; Joe Galloway who fought at the Ia Drang Valley; Don Kirk, Henry Brashear, Dennis Duncanson, Jim Parsons, etc. (VN journalists), and combat veterans Lt. Col. Vince Tocci and Jim Lorfano, Korea/VN and DDI/Pentagon.

I curse our mainstream media and will until the day I die.

President Ronald Reagan:
"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem."
