There’s more to all of this than just the Coronavirus. Every country in the world is using this as an excuse to push the limits on it’s citizens. Just how far will they go is anybody’s guess. One thing for sure, it shows just how easily manipulated people are when something like this happens.
The sh!t hasn’t even begun to hit the fan. We haven’t seen a run on the banks yet. We haven’t seen looting and robbing yet. And luckily we haven’t seen rioting. On top of all that, just think what kind of a tailspin could happen if we had another terrorist attack.

If you see what our great and wonderful president Donald J Trump is doing his marshaling the entire power of the federal government and the bully pulpit to get people to change their behavior briefly so that we can bring lunch this virus before it really gets a foothold

Whether one has, or can use common sense under the stress of a public health threat is precisely the issue. Our record shows many will not recognize or may even disregard such a threat. Many who do understand the threat will not use common sense but do whatever they imagine they must to protect themselves and their family.
The U.S. Constitution says we have a right... among other things to elect representative who will pass laws for the common good. The federal laws now being exercised have been in place for decades. (The power to close gun stores, of course, seems a severe and irrational overreach on the part of local officials.)
