5.7 near airport. Got to be some damage in the valley. Shook house in Sandy. We live in what used to be Lake Bonneville so most of the valley is subject to liquefaction. Power still on here. Lasted it seemed about 30 seconds. Felt like the house was a boat in stormy seas. We're about 20-25 miles from the epicenter. Just got a call, power out in a good part of the valley. Oh and it's raining today.

Decades ago I remember being shook in my bed between 4 and 5 in the morning. Apparently it was something centred in upstate NY. Around the Lake Placid area. Toronto isn’t known for much shaking but it was mentioned at the time there is a fault line running underneath Lake Ontario
