My thinking:
Fact: China supplies all of our medical prescriptions.
Older people take specific medicines by-and-large blood thinners so on so forth.
China could be weaponizing our medications by seeding it with a random doses of the virus thus impacting our elders.
Americans on prescription could be sporadically and randomly seeded with the virus and not just this one any virus.
You should never enable the people who sell U medical treatments to 1st give you the diseases for which you need their prescription.
Who would be stupid enough to allow that? Apparently we would be.

What I don’t get (and what makes NO sense) is how the Chinese supposedly got it under control, but it didn’t blow through 80% of their population. Why isn’t it surging again as things (supposedly) get back to normal. Until you have “herd immunity” or a high vaccination rate, it should just keep going.

When you have a population of 1.4 billion, losing a few hundred or a thousand here or there makes very little difference. If China lost as many people as now live in North America, they would still have over one billion people.
China has roughly the same land area as the lower 48 states and probably about the same percentage is largely empty. So that means China sustains a population about four times that of America, on a similar inhabited land base.
One of the local newspapers has been pushing everyone to sigh up for their “up to the minute breaking news alerts” via Text messages, all while showing the “Facts not Fears” graphic they made.
GUARANTEED, every government in the world is doing interesting stuff right now, while mass media,societies,and economies are focused on CV19.

Every virus is transmitted by stealth, we can’t see them. If we could see them or if we knew someone had them we avoid them.

The same could e said of the regular seasonal flu putting the fatality rate much lower for that. Numbers can be manipulated.

Wouldn’t this mean then that the death rate is much lower than we thought?
And since they’re saying that this is 10 times more fatal than the flu, if 10 times more people have it than we thought had it, that then doesn’t that bring it back to having the same fatality rate as the flu?
You make the assumption that the two are identical in how they act in the body - Cornoa and the flu - and result in the same death rates because they are the same in transmission data. That’s a big assumption to make. They are different diseases.

Is it possible to get a mild case of the flu so that you don’t even know you have it? I’m not being antagonistic. Just trying to figure out how to think about these numbers.
