Anyone under 50 in reasonable health may have been infected and though they just had the seasonal cold or flu.

I am now convinced that I had it in December. Virus with the worst respiratory symptoms I've had in a long time, which held on for weeks.

While I'm not yet convinced that I had it. I did have the same experience as you in December.
