the world must keep turning and somebody's got to do it...
for the life of the world, we've always had sickness....
from the beginning, the frail, elderly, and chronically sick should have isolated themselves, not the vast majority that are not sick.....I speak as a 66 yro with Diabetes and high bp.....
the fact that so many are up and about with apparent virus is actually a good sign....we're going to gain immunity and soon we'll have a vaccine for all...
Life is for the living.
And while losing potentially thousands of people to this new illness is tragic; we will lose even more than we save if people rush to hospitals and acquire MERSA which kills 100,000 per year in ‘normal’ times; and even more to medical errors due to overworked medical staff.
The death numbers go off the charts if there is violence due to societal breakdown; due to this self-inflicted economic suicide.
Best economy in 50 years straight to the worst economy in 90 years.
That’s going to have 2nd and 3rd order consequences that people need to pull craniums out of orifices TODAY and start to reverse the most draconian of the restrictions.
I don’t really care if I get flamed for this post. Flame away. You’re wrong.
