“With my bare hands” tells me that he wants it to be as up close and personal as it gets.
I agree, that’s why I mentioned it, and probably why he has been indicted. He definitely should have worded his anger in different terms. Personally I would never threaten or wish death on anyone, and were I to write a letter I would lay out a rational basis explaining why the recipient is wrong - though it seems that reason and logic have long since gone out the window with the types like Schiff.
On the other hand, I don’t think there is anything wrong with our political leaders living with just a little bit of fear of angry mobs. I don’t want violence, I don’t advocate violence - I didn’t live through it but the 1960’s but there was quite a bit of political violence in that era. If there was just a little more fear among the government officials they might not act as rashly and mean-spiritedly as they have been over the last few years and instead would work towards consensus instead of division.
