Not much different than shutting down the entire air traffic system on 9/11. We need to get a handle on this mess.
How to get a handle short of shutting down the country? ORrrrr.... we could just let people get sick and die. Ya know - the tautological “survival of the fittest”?

Or, we could just protect and isolate the at risk population. You know, rather then destroy the savings and wealth of every single middle class American that has worked their whole life to build something. What and who do you think is affected by a complete rout of 401Ks followed by massive inflation as they print trillions of dollars to pay to the lowest among us economically?

cripes... *** How to get a handle short of shutting down the country? ORrrrr.... we could just let people get sick and die ***
Like we have a handle on the flu? yet we don’t shut down the country for flu.
re: This coronavirus
- why test? ( I’ll wait but not too long )
- there’s no vaccine. (current flu shot is maybe 50% effective overall yet we didn’t shut down the country?)
- treatment is the same as the flu - to treat the symptoms, stay at home if not hospitalized.
https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/preliminary-in-season-estimates.htm
“The CDC estimates that so far this season there have been 22,000-55,000 deaths, 36 million to 51 million flu illnesses, 370,000- 670,000 hospitalizations.”
and we still haven’t shut the country down?
