OLYMPIA, Wash. -- All bars, entertainment and recreational facilities have been ordered by the state to close across Washington and restaurants will be limited to take-out or delivery orders only, Gov. Jay Inslee said Sunday night.
“Given the explosion of COVID-19 in our state and globally, I will sign a statewide emergency proclamation tomorrow to temporarily shut down restaurants, bars and entertainment and recreational facilities," Inslee said in a press release announcing the new order. “Restaurants will be allowed to provide take-out and delivery services but no in-person dining will be permitted. The ban will not apply to grocery stores and pharmacies. Other retail outlets will have reduced occupancy."
Retail outlets include gas stations, banks, hardware, stores and shopping centers.

It didn’t have to happen there, given the madness in our country I suppose it was inevitable but there is absolutely no reason for it. The disease is not exploding in Washington or anywhere else.
This is insane. Remove the at risk group of elderly with underlying conditions from the equation and the mortality rate drops to less then the common flu. Why not use the resources to protect and isolate the at risk group and allow the economy and society to roll on?

Elected officials are starting to overreact to avoid looking “soft on Coronavirus”. Washing your hands properly, basic sanitation, and not touching your face will do more than all these panicky draconian measures.
Agree. There is more than enough data available to identify the at risk groups, though the MSM refuses to publish it.

I very reluctantly can understand why these morons are doing this; and I really hope that most of them have the peoples real best interest in mind. Watch for when they release their emergency orders. And if they don’t or won’t; be prepared.
