I even like Soul. Traditional soul, like Marvin Gaye, Temptations, OJays, Spinners, Chi-lites, etc
Same here, grew up listening to that, and then came the Beatles, then CSN, Eagles, etc... on to Steven Tyler and the screaming began, then to me a lost time period of boy bands, Bon Jovi, etc..... then Rap Crap, and now if it gyrates it sells.
Give me the old stuff, much more enjoyable.
Did like Elton John’s music in between, and minus their political leanings James Taylor and Jackson Browne.
Bowie on some songs,
Dire Straits , Clapton , Cream, Zepplin , Santana for pure guitar magic....
Love to play guess the artist/song on Rock Classics with the younger generations.
They wonder how do you know all that so quickly.
My response all pre portable music devices so we sang those songs to ourselves when we weren’t listening to vinyl records ( many times a what’s that look/question)
