I think many interpret that “paltry 4% positive rate” in S Korea as Death rate...

Bill is 73 going on 74 in August. Hillary is 72 going to be 73 in Oct.

By Dem standards, they are part of their youth movement. It all Depends....

Many here don’t realize your experience in dc and govt. itself. Challenging you in those areas is foolish at best stupid at worst. Also it seems Italy has a large chines worker population which undoubtedly made the situation far worse than it should have been.
I’m curious were you in the SES, Senior executive service,?If so was it slowly being taken over by all the wrong people or were many of them already deep staters? That’s the gist of what I have read but really don’t have any first hand to verify any of it.I was also told the SES became a pawn of Hillary Clinton.Anything to that?

Exactly we have to break the hold the drivebys have on major media. Ironically we pay their bills through support of their advertising. We may need to start there. It’s happening however slowly,we will probably need our own youtube soon and our own facebook as other stuff as our input gets stabbed in the heart. We are big enough to have it all.Truth always has a way of getting out.

Senior Foreign Service the equivalent of SES in grade and pay. It is just like the military in terms of flag rank versus the rest of the officer corps. In the SES there is rank in position while in the SFS and the military flag ranks, it is rank in person. We both have an up or out system with time limitations on how long you can serve.

The SES employees (non-political appointments) can serve up until retirement age, but there is no upper limit for most federal employees. I know some who are working at age 80 and above. The SES employees can settle into a specific job and be there a long, long time. Political appointees serving in SES level jobs must resign when a new President comes into office. There are only about 7,000 Presidential appointment jobs, mostly in the SES. The Plum Book lists those jobs.

The career bureaucracy believes that it is in charge, not the politicians who come and go. They will support those who give them a wide latitude to do their jobs and maintain the status quo. If the political appointee tries to change a policy they like, he will be undermined thru leaks and red tape. IMO the bureaucracy needs to be reined in. It has become far too powerful. Given the generous salaries and retirement benefits plus the extreme difficulty of firing someone, we need total reform. The first thing I would do would be to eliminate public employee labor unions who overwhelming support the Dems, the party of Big Government. It is almost impossible to reform the bureaucracy as long as one major political party opposes it. The Dems view the bureaucracy as just another constituency.

If anything, Hillary became a pawn of the SES rather than the other way around. In return, they protected her.

Well, the general population has fallen prey to the RATaganda, stocking up on of all things toilet paper. But you can still get some in certain places.

The chicom virus causes respiratory distress, not diarrhea.

Other than that, thank God for “global warming”.

Now there needs to be one or more against the RATagandists and the RATs.

I agree! They've already destroyed a HUGE part of the US economy.

On the plus side for older folks, we are an endangered species and are, in current culture oriented intelligentsia, to be protected whatever the cost. I think that being older is now a good place to be. We are blessed!

Soul . . Before stupid Disco.

Disco killed soul music. Although I preferred Nashville Soul to Motown.

Wow, that’s quite the lineup of musicians you have seen.

Great adds to the guitar virtuoso list. Enjoyed them all and the bands, individuals you cited.
