I stayed in the house as much as possible and when out limited my contact with others as much as possible for the last week just because I have (nearly over it now) a cold. Of course I’m not a dick head.
My “get out of the house because of cabin fever” time is on the motorcycle. It’s a great way to escape and be safe.

Society has a long history of enforced quarantines, some less pretty than others. The bottom line is that your right to do as you please ends when you are a proveable harm to others and that includes being infectious.

What an idiot. Quarantines used to be a real thing in this country before the days of vaccines - and the constitution survived.
we should care about others. Does it not bother you just a little bit that this person doesn’t care about who he gives it to while he’s out and about? Not just the elderly but those immunocompromised from chemotherapy or other treatments.

Lets say a person does isolate. If he/she needs something, do they send someone to bring that to them?

I say let the man do as he wishes...we don’t live in a despotism. And this disease is probably less dangerous than the flu if u aren’t a senior citizen.

10 times more deadly than the flu if you are 30. Once you hit 60 it is hundreds of times more deadly than the flu. Once you hit 80 it is thousands of times more deadly.
