It seems that hiring people based on color rather than their qualifications doesn’t stop them from whining about racism.

There were at least four people directly responsible for not catching this. The original Twitter person, the NYT “editor,” Brian Williams, and whomever allowed and/or mocked the tweet up for the viewers to see.

I completely believe liberals are this collectively stupid and can’t think or think critically to save themselves.

But, then, we’ve seen their justifications for global warming, communism, free health care for all, and so many other things that have absolutely no logic or sense behind them. The list of their “stupid” is so vast, it’s really just easiest to simply substitute “liberal” for “stupid” from now on.

I found something else interesting in her whining.

First she complains:
Most of them were men who are prolific on Twitter. (Going out and doing actual reporting? That’s harder.)

Then just a little later:
… we mentioned a tweet, written by someone else...

I guess actual reporting is harder for Mara.

She’s the exact demographic that Mattel was going for with their “Teen Talk Barbie” that said “Math class is tough!” (often mistaken for “Math is hard!”)

Across social media, right wing trolls celebrated.

"Troll" now seems to be an all-purpose word for internet pests.

My great sin was trivial, harmless, silly. What’s it like when people are trying to cancel you for a math mistake? Weird, and maddening and painful.

People get fired for a lot less. But were they really trying to get her fired? Or just making her take her well-deserved lumps?

I am a black woman who writes for The New York Times and appears on national TV. And if you’re black in America, no matter who you are, what you accomplish or how hard you work, there will always be people to remind you that you are black, that you are “just a ni**er.”

A colleague at The Times, an African-American woman, wrote to me on Friday afternoon, “They resent that you exist.”

White people never get pestered on the internet when they make a stupid mistake?

It didn’t help that I write for a newspaper where my colleagues are assiduously working to hold a rogue president accountable every day.

It also didn't help that there are people out there trying to hold the Times accountable everyday.

Look, folks, I have white parents. That’s what my mom, a liberal Democrat mind you, would say jokingly as to why I, for lack of a better term, sucked at math. I’m a bad Asian. I don’t like math or science. Well, I like science—I’m fascinated by stuff that explodes—but I never excelled at it. None of the Vespa kids did well in math.

Matt Vespa, call home. I think mom needs to explain something to you.

Look, I can empathize with the 'being bad at math' part. It was actually Andrew Kaczynski who asked how this error got on television, and he works for the very anti-Trump CNN.

It's nice that Kaczynski had a place to go when the "Unabomber" thing didn't work out for him.

She made it a ‘black’ issue?

I think white guy Brian Williams was right there with her...

OK, Mara, a free math lesson. I'll start with some simple problems.

If you had two dollars and you divided it between two people, how would each get. Very good! Answer: 1 dollar.

Now a tougher one. You're not as stupid you say you are.

Now, 100 dollars between 100? Yes! 1 dollar.

Now, 1,000 dollars between 1,000 people? 1 dollar. Yes, you're a genius!

How about 10,000 dollars between 10,000 people? Yes, 1 dollar. You are just too smart for TV!!

100,000 between 100,000 people? Yes, 1 dollar! Einstein!

1 million between 1 million? 1 dollar. Yes, too easy for you!

How about 100 million between 100 million! 1 dollar, Yay!

The next one is really tricky. 500 million between 500 million people? 1 dollar is correct.

The toughest of the day. 500 million between 250 million people. Yes, it's 2 dollars.

Wow, You've really got the idea!!

Now how about 500 million between 327 million? Oh, no, it's NOT 1 million. Too bad, you were so close!

Being off by a factor if 10 is completely acceptable (outside your profession). Being off by a factor of 1,000,000 is not a trivial error. That mistake shows a complete lack of understanding of the magnitude of numbers, i.e., a typical tax-and-spend democrat.
