Look at the articles chart 7 and 11. In late December a handful of doctors recognized they were dealing with something new. The case load was still in double digits. Look at what happened. In the length of time between this early warning and the time they admitted they had a problem and started mitigation. Realize they were chasing a horse that was two weeks out of the barn when they realized he was missing. See how it took two weeks for their measures to have an effect? Look at the other numbers. Where ever the region, whatever the numbers they thought they had were the real numbers were 40 or 100 times that.
Shutting down schools and universities is happening to day. The High School my wife works at is at a meeting right now discussing work from home and the students all got a call last night saying they have a holiday today. But acting quickly on information is not necessarily panicking. It might be over kill or over reacting but not panicking.
Although, they been to concerned about exposing the citizenry , including our children, to the tens of millions of illegals who haven’t been tested for anything let alone deadly viruses or diseases.
