My Chinese wife says the youtube/wechat buzz from Wuhan now is that people are experiencing re-infections of COVID-19. Hopefully this is fake news. She says anything that comes from PRC/MSM approved sources is assumed fake.
Smart gal.
She says anything that comes from PRC/MSM approved sources is assumed fake.
Thats a safe bet. But what we can rely on is social media contributions from the general public which has been telling the truth at their own peril. It does indeed look like they are on the right side of the bell curve.

So the utube and wechats are from prc/msm, and therefore questionable?
Are the re-infections relapses?

Uh, that's kinda run together there - causing various interpretations. My take is that the "fake news" is that China has beaten COVID-19, and the real story is that " people are experiencing re-infections of COVID-19."
Correct??
If not, why on Earth would the PRC allow out news of reinfections?
Assuming "yes", then a clarification is needed.
Does "reinfections" mean:
A) People who had the disease and recovered are getting it again? (If yes, that is a very big, and bad, portent.)
B) Is the disease still spreading into the uninfected population of Hubei province (which is still 10x to 100x the size of the infected-so-far population) depending on whose numbers or estimates one believes.)
C) A + B.
They might not be totally clearing the virus and simply relapsing. I hope it doesn’t become like Epstein-barre virus and become a chronic illness for some people.
