[I appreciate your post. So many are so callous. I also am for the wall, but I also feel bad for these desperate people.]
I feel bad for all of the people who feel they have to leave the country of their birth and their forebears to come here as illegal aliens. The issue is the social problems they cause by being here, the principal one of which is their effect on wages, which is pushing the entire country towards socialism. With every illegal entry, the proportion of the country that is pushing us towards Chavismo and Fidelismo increases. We simply cannot take any more of these people. That they die in transit is sad, but hopefully a deterrent to future illegal border crossers. Frankly, we are at the point where we need to zero out *all* immigration for at least 40 years, the way Hoover’s executive order shut down
