New York City has cancelled its St. Patricks Day parade due to the global spread of the coronavirus, according to The New York Daily News. Earlier on Wednesday, Chicago and Pittsburgh joined major cities including Dublin, Boston, Denver and New Orleans in nixing the Irish celebrations.
Over 4.4 million people attend these six parades, among the largest gatherings affected by COVID-19. Hundreds of events have been cancelled, postponed or transformed into digital-only affairs. According to Forbes C19 Cancellation Tracker, since early February more than 12 million attendees worldwide have had their plans changed by the coronavirus, which has claimed over 4,000 lives.
New Yorks parade hosts 2 million people, the biggest cancelled event tracked by Forbes. The parade has been held every year since 1762.

But what if green beer is a vaccine against COVID-19?
Don’t we need a few controlled research studies?
We will do whatever it takes to destroy this presidency, even if it means taking down the entire Global Economy with hype and scare mongering..
PANIC NOW!! Beat the rush!
FACT.
HEY!
How about all the LGBTs that want to parade?
You know they are all disease free, so no problem.
That was my first thought. At least we won't have to go through that crap this year.
Here we are:Ready made crisis that has a high chance of doing what DNC/#NeverTrump/Globalists/Obamaites and Clinton Cabal have not been able to do since day one Trump election.
The linked article states that the parade has NOT been cancelled.
That’s odd. It has changed since I posted it.
What you see in the body of the article is what I copy and pasted at the time of posting.
Different sources are saying that it’s still on.
And the bars will remain open. Same as in Denver
That means for St. Patrick’s Day we’re all supposed to hunker down and get totally blitzed in place.
(Like that idiotic shelter in place.)
From the Daily News
NYC St. Patricks Day Parade may still go on; organizers deny reports iconic parade canceled over coronavirus fears
The luck of the Irish may still hold.
After a report Wednesday that New York Citys St. Patricks Day Parade was canceled for the first time in more than a century over coronavirus fears, the organizers of the beloved event released a statement saying the parade is still on.
The parade along Fifth Avenue has been held since 1762, drawing some 2 million spectators and revelers. Another 150,000 march in the parade.
Yeah. Apparently so as I posted above. Apologies
Not sure what to believe as of yet.

We need to work together as a community to protect the most vulnerable among us.
(I'm not pointing fingers. I just happen to be in close enough proximity to this event that if it were really cancelled, I would have heard it before I visited FR today.)
Well the two sides are couched a bit
reportedly cancelled
may still go on
What BS. Millions still ride the subways. More virtue signaling.
