And he died only a few minutes after contracting the virus.

If Harvey wasn’t a democrat the headlines would read “Major Republican Donor Sentenced to Prison for Rape!”
Yup, and there would be no real evidence of wrong doing.
I have no doubt that Harv was a sleeze ball and pressured young girls to give up the gooch for a job, but so would most red blooded men in that position.
This has been going on for hundreds of years, he didn’t invent something new.
The head waitress didn’t get the first shift gig because she could sling hash extra fast.

It isn’t a state secret. Hollyweird began making open jokes about it on TV.
This was going on for years. You can look it up.
Well it’s good that they caught the only guy in Hollywood using the ‘casting couch’.
I know what you are talking about. We have all heard the stories and read them. I am talking about the actual charges and the real testimony.
Give the podcast a listen. It is really interesting. It brought me back to the old CourtTV days where we got to listen to a case all the way through.
Anyway, hopefully you understand what I’m saying. Evidence presented has to be worthy of a serious conviction. It wasn’t there. These women wrote literally hundreds and hundreds of Lots of Love to Harvey and all kinds of things. Kept seeing him. Their stories were challenged credibly so that matters in a court of law. That is my point.
I have some experience with sexual harassment (not rape) throughout my life in business and personal. I ALWAYS told immediately. I never allowed it and I sure as heck never had a relationship with these men. And I went on with my life just fine because I’m a strong woman.
Sorry BHS, I don’t have time to do this podcast. I cry no tears for Harvey. The man was a POS treating people horribly for years. The list of women who came out is a long one.
They didn’t do it because he was an easy target. Hardly. He hired investigators to go out and trash and threaten the women. In the end, he was held to account.
He’s regretting he didn’t take a private flight to Ecuador last year.
Fine. But DO NOT mistake my argument as a defense for him in any way. I am talking about evidence and the courts. He is a dirtbag, I do agree. But I don’t know a man who wants the #MeToo odds and the so-called evidence that was presented in a court of law.
And seriously do these women have no responsibility. That is the question too when you hear the actual evidence that you won’t ever hear about.
At any rate, he’s bye bye for the rest of his life.
I am surprised most of all that they did not let him out on bail pending a start date or pending appeal.
Right off to jail.
I expect that might be coming up too- how good is his lawyer?
But at least he’s gotten a taste of prison so far- and I hope he’s enjoying it as much as his victims, and if he were to get invited to be prom-queen in prison then he could know even more how the women felt.
I only posed the question on FB if the sentence was kind of long. Wow, did I ever get roasted.
