The Detroit construction worker who got into a shouting match with Joe Biden said the former vice president kind of went off the deep end when he asked a question about his intent to ban assault weapons.
I thought I was pretty articulate and respectful. I didnt try to raise feathers, Jerry Wayne said Wednesday during an interview with Fox & Friends.
He kind of just went off the deep end. Once he got caught in a lie, I kind of wanted to ask him why he wanted to take our long arms rather than the handguns, Wayne continued. To me thats very skeptical. If you care about human life, wouldnt you want to go after the tool thats used the most.
During the heated encounter Tuesday at a Fiat-Chrysler auto plant under construction in Detroit, the Democratic presidential front-runner said Wayne was full of st and dared him to go outside to settle their spat.
The hardhat downplayed the former VPs use of profanity.
Im kind of used to it in the workforce. As a politician, I can understand the way how things have gone, youre not supposed to use profanity, Wayne said. But in this day and age, its a language. Im not going to hate him for that. I dont think thats something to beat the guy up about. But he could have curbed a little of what he said.
He said when he heard Biden was going to be stopping by the construction site, he gathered his thoughts.
As Biden made his way through the crowd of construction workers, Wayne said, he stopped him to pose a question.
Wayne said he first asked Biden about his plans to keep workers employed, but I dont think he was ready for it.

Jerry has more brain cells than sleepy Joe.
A construction worker in an automobile manufacturing plant is a new one on me.
jerry’s kind of a tard.
Shaking head that those working construction workers would want to change from a powerful work horse to an old sway back horse in the middle of the stream.
Isn’t it a plant under construction?
“A construction worker in an automobile manufacturing plant is a new one on me”.
Maybe they were expanding the size of the plant.
What makes you say that.
So Biden has a Joe the Plumber moment.
This time the Repugnant party actually has a candidate who can benefit.
But the absurdity of calling the Democrats the party of the Working Man is now clear to all.
It was brave of him to confront Gun Grabbin' Joe. I'm sure his adrenaline was pumping and that affected his ability to express himself.
I'm proud of him. I'm also concerned for his safety. The Union thugs who "represent" him will not be pleased with him for embarrassing the man they hope will help them take Jerry's guns away.
You cant expect the enlightened classes to understand the peasantry and their banal lives.
WORKERS v. parasites ALERT
Jomentia has been feeding at our trough for almost 50 years (1973). Go home GROPER/SNIFFER. Take your spawn with you.
HOORAY WORKERS. HOORAY Americans!
Need to lower your expectations a bit, FRiend.
That bit of info was all the way down in the fourth line of the excerpt !
“A construction worker in an automobile manufacturing plant is a new one on me.”
According to the article, that plant is under construction, so that makes perfect sense in my book.
Everybody knows reading the article is verboten on FR.
I did not get that impression at all. From reports, apparently a chant of “TRUMP!!” went up at this event for Biden.
From the washington examiner.
Which is correct?
Lamentably, we may never know.
