If you haven’t noticed by now, the Democrats are focused upon surviving the Trump Presidency. If they can maintain control of the Deep State kakistocracy and keep its leaders out of jail, they believe they will have won. Even if President Trump wins a second term, which will mean they do not have as many dead voters as live Republicans, and that is not likely, there is no successor to Trump.
I worry about this with reckless abandon.

I agree 100%. Pence is a good man but, as you say, he doesn’t have that fire in the belly and they’d walk over him.
I say Mike Pompeo or Ron deSantis.
I thought Pence did an excellent job in his debate with the Creepy Clown guy though.

I totally agree with Jordan and Meadows. Both are smart, tough, and have a personality. Not Pence. He’s a cardboard cutout of an empty suit politician, and looks like he just stepped out of a coffin.

Pence is very capable, just a little boring.
There will be several possibilities over the next four years.
One that looks attractive to me right now is Senator Hawley from Missouri.
Her win would have been QUITE a surprise.
1. She spoke to MAINLY teens and Latinos, offering the latter free tacos. I would have shown up for the free tacos. Teens are the WORST voting group. And Latinos? Who knew who was legal and who wasn't?
2. She completely ignored Democrat men.
3. Her hubby should have been on the boobtube CONSTANTLY saying: "Vote for mah wife" and he wasn't. She MIGHT'VE taken a hint from him but I guess that was OUT of her ability.
4. She felt that she had to ACCENTUATE the negative, rather than ACCENTUATE the positive. She called those against her "deplorables."
Damn!
Why don’t they run him? Be hard to beat.
