A couple of years ago, when it was unearthed that the city couldn’t, uh, locate some $33 million in its central bank account, and that some seven city accounts hadn’t even been reconciled for years, and that the crack CPAs at City Hall had committed $924 million in accounting errors, I called for the dismissal of longtime Finance Director Rob Dubow on this theory: What are the chances that this egregious example of rank incompetence was a one-off? What confidence could any of us have that, if we were to truly audit local government, we’d find an otherwise unblemished commitment to handling taxpayer dollars as a sacred trust?

Larry Platt is an accomplished author and apparently an honest liberal. This article talks about the flagrant accounting fraud, waste, and abuse of tax payers. Besides the bloated payrolls and budget increases millions of dollars can't be found. They literally can not follow the money but want more fed and state dollars.

Philadelphia has been in Democratic hands for half a century....of course it is corrupt and full of graft.

Term limits are not just required at the federal level....but state and local level where a massive amount of corruption exists.

Nikki Haley talks about why she got into politics. One reason is the lack of accountability and her desire to impose term limits.

Can you imagine Rizzo approving cashless bail or making Philly a sanctuary city?

Regarding the scandalous waste of taxpayers' dollars, patriots need to elect a new patriot Congress that will not only promise to fully comply with PDJT’s already excellent work for MAGA, but will also do this.

New lawmakers also need to promise to respect the Supreme Court’s clarification of Congress’s limited power to appropriate taxes.

And while I’m not going to stop patriots from establishing constitutional term limits, if we’re going to amend the Constitution for term limits then we might as well repeal the real troublemakers imo, the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments.

In urban sh!tholes, the career bureaucrats are simply wealth transfers to minorities to maintain an illusion of assimilation. Nobody is going to “term limit” the gibsmedat political class.

Cashless bail, sanctuary cities and release of non-violent criminals are all means to terrorize the citizens into supporting more government...to give up more tax money and power to gov’t in return for security.
