Virginia Gov. Northam tweeted about the recent updates, reminding Virginians to take basic health precautions.
“We are working closely with federal, military, and local partners to respond to a COVID-19 case at Ft. Belvoir. The risk to Virginians remains low, but please continue to stay aware and take basic health precautions.”

Public health officials report that the risk of the virus spreading in Virginia is low.
Do not let Virginia Gov. Northam deal with our Marines like he deals with our babies:
“So in this particular example, if a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen,” Northam, a pediatric neurosurgeon, told Washington radio station WTOP. “The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired. And then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”
And another person in Fairfax City. According to the article, they knew it Feb. 28th, but didn’t report it until today.
